BIOGRAPHY 

Solymar was born and raised in Puerto Rico in a hardworking family. Her family has been her most significant influence and guide to who she is today. Growing up she was taught the value of hard work and to never do anything without giving her one hundred percent.   

Since family and people were important, she knew she would study what could benefit others, especially those most vulnerable, children. Soly studied and graduated Magna Cum-Laude at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Her hard work earned her a full scholarship to study for her Master’s Degree at The University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee where she graduated with honors in Child Welfare with internships within The Adoption and Reunifications Units with the City of Milwaukee.  

After graduating, Soly worked for the State of Wisconsin on Child Protective Services (CPS), performing Child Abuse investigations, court procedures, and placements of abused children. She later transferred and worked for Milwaukee Public School District performing special needs evaluations, truancy investigations, child abuse reporting, family interventions, teen counseling, and gang member social interventions.   

In 2004, Soly relocated with her family to Florida, which marked the beginning of her career at Dental Designs. Soly began to work for what was then Dental Expressions along with Dr. Padilla. She was able to help Dr. Padilla grow the offices from four operatories to two clinics encompassing 20 operatories and 70 employees.

Driven by her high expectations and hardworking principles, Soly took her career change as a challenge. She placed all her efforts and behavioral knowledge into shaping Dental Designs into how it is today.
