BIOGRAPHY 

Dr. Yanelis Garcia, DMD

Dr. Yanelis Garcia is a general dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on excellence, education, and lifelong learning. Born in Cuba, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in restorative, prosthetic, surgical, and preventive dentistry.

Dr. Garcia has served diverse patient populations throughout Florida in private practice, community health, and military readiness settings. Her clinical experience includes comprehensive treatment planning, restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and preventive care. She is committed to incorporating modern techniques and evidence-based dentistry into her daily practice.

Passionate about occlusion, esthetics, and comprehensive care, Dr. Garcia continues her advanced education through the Dawson Academy Mini-Residency program, where she further develops her expertise in functional dentistry and treatment planning. She was honored as a recipient of the Dawson Academy Legacy Scholarship in recognition of her dedication to professional growth and clinical excellence.

Throughout her career, Dr. Garcia has participated in numerous volunteer initiatives, including Mission of Mercy, Give Kids A Smile, Remote Area Medical, Caring for Miami, and other community outreach programs, reflecting her commitment to improving access to oral healthcare.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Garcia enjoys continuing education, gardening, and spending time with her family and pets. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while building lasting relationships based on trust, compassion, and personalized care.
